My fiance and I moved into this community in May of 2002, and it has been an absolute nightmare from the moment we settled in. First of all, the insulation in these apartments is nonexistant, so you can hear EVERYTHING that your neighbors are doing. Try listening to kids running/jumping/skipping/screaming 18 hours per day, everyday above you. Then add to that a foreign couple who dumps their kid on their porch outside for an hour every day so the child can yell and scream. Now add neighbors below who play their music loud, have band sessions, and use a charcoal grill that smokes you out of your apartment!! Sounds pretty bad''' This is just the tip of the iceberg! The crime in this place is alarming. Since May, the property has suffered numerous burgleries, car thefts and vandalism, child molestations, and rapes. This place is not a safe place to live. Management is a joke. We have had several meetings with the "Property Manager" regarding noise issues and there have been little or no results. We are forced to live in a hell hole!!! PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE Oh, and the phone service is also problematic. Summerwalk contracts a SINGLE line into the main property through Gemtel Phone Company, then a series of extensions are routed to each apartment in the community. So, you have no choice of who your phone provider is!!! Unbelievable!! WE HATE THIS PLACE AND WISH ANYBODY WHO READS THIS TO CONSIDER OTHER PROPERTIES.
