Use your garage. I live in the townhomes as well and have ample parking for my one car. If I had two cars then I would make sure that I used my garage for parking and not storage! As far as the appliances go.....the referigerator keeps things cool....the oven keeps things hot....the washer and dryer keep things clean....perhaps they are not Viking....but they seem to do what they are supposed to do.
