Nice location, some minor problems

I recently took a job in the area and my relocation company set me up for a month or two at the Timbers in Issaquah. They gave me a 2 bed, 2 path 1400sq. ft. ground-floor apartment which typically goes for $1500/mo. Living here free for a month is pretty nice. The apartment is great, and the area is beautiful, but there are just enough little annoyances that might make me look elsewhere for permanent housing.
The Good
--------------
Let me first say... I love this apartment. It's gorgeous. Extremely well maintained, modern appliances, washer, dryer, and water heater are in a hallway closet behind French doors. No A/C or central heat, but there is a typical wall-mounted space heater in each room, which is usually adequate for the Seattle area. A ceiling fan is centrally located over the living room on the 9' high ceiling.
The kitchen sports a typical refer, a nice full-size self-cleaning electric stove, high-load dish washer, and garbage disposal with the switch safely located out of arms reach of the sink (and kids). The vinyl floor has a very nice gray-slate look, and all molding is caulked. All-in-all, a very nice kitchen.
Bedrooms are spacious, but not so spacious that they take up the whole apartment. The master bedroom has a great walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The main bathroom is about twice the size of the master bedroom bathroom and it has handicap access.
The Bad
----------------
There is no insulation around the water pipes in the walls, so I hear every gallon of water that my upstairs neighbor flushes. However, the only time that this is actually annoying is when he is running his washing machine or dishwasher, since it produces about an hour of water-running noises while I'm trying to concentrate on my work.
Another little annoyance is that there is very little water pressure from the shower faucets due to the fact that The Timbers is located on a large hill.
If you have more than one car or often have company, parking can be a problem. Everyone is assigned a covered parking space, but there are a very limited number of guest parking spots available.
There are two garbage bins on my block of about 48 apartments, or more, so they tend to fill up pretty fast. I've seen it overflowing, but I don't know how often it is emptied.
The Summary
-----------
The Timbers offers middle-class apartments for a middle-class price. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities are great. The interiors are just as wonderful as the exteriors. However, for such a modern apartment complex, I would expect better construction practices and slightly better planning. No insulation around drainage pipes makes for loud flushes in ground-floor apartments. Guest parking is available, but sparse.
Recommendations
---------------
Would I live here' Yup, you bet. It's about 100 times better than my previous apartment. I'm single, I have one car, I have a good salary, and I can deal with the little annoyances. However, there are probably better apartments in the area for almost the same money, or less. So, chances are, I won't be extending my stay at The Timbers. However, I would recommend that you at least check out The Timbers if you're looking for a nice apartment in the Issaquah/Sammamish area.
