First positive points:
(1)Good location, less than a mile to highlands Park & Ride.
(2)Nearby shopping mall including Fred Meyers and many places to Eat.

Negative points realized after moving in:
(1)
Comcast cable not available.
Hi-speed internet from Qwest is twice the cost and asks for 2 years agreement.
Hi-Speed internet from MIllenium Cable (now Broadstripe) sucks, $40 per month, and you get avg 300KBPS speed.
why I am complaining about broadband here ' Because Timebrs has agreement with broadstripe and thus you can't get the best broadband like comcast!
Didn't know this hidden point before I moved in.

Water & trash is costly. Expect $50 avg per month for 1 Bedroom with 2 Adults.
trash service is $10.
sewer is 4 times the water fee. when water service is $9, sewer service is $36!!

Rental delay fee (after 3rd of the month) is too high, $70.
There is no free automatic rent pay setup.
Now a days, most apartments arrange free electronic payment from checking a/c, it's not here.
(4)
Office staff as well as Maintenance staff is great, but lazy.
sometimes, 2-3 reminders required to get the stuff done.


Note that this is not really anything directly against the apartment, but,
about the amenities became painful after the move in.

Whether or not you have Comcast also depends on when your apartment was constructed. I live in the Phase 2 here at the Timbers and we DO have Comcast. Because it was constructed later and everyone could already see how badly millennium/broadstripe SUCKED... they used Comcast down here. If you want to get rid of that company, then put your complaints IN WRITING to the front office and they might be able to do something about it. It takes a LOT of complaints and time, but if you're willing to put forth some effort, there's a good chance you can better the situation.
