I lived at Clark Street Apartments for one year. Had a hard time with the manager making mistakes. Nothing ever got fixed or if it did it took weeks. I complained about the burned out light on the stairway. Two weeks later nothing was done then I fell down the stairs one night and it was replaced the next day. It took three weeks to get the heating element replace in my dryer and three calls to management. I complained too many times to count about my fireplace, it did not draw very good and black soot would get in my apartment. Nobody ever came to fix my fireplace so we did not use it. My appliances were very, very old. While I lived there they were bought out by a company that was going to refurbish all of the apartments that was 6/2006. I ran into a tenant from there 4/2008 and was told as of 4/2008 they had done very little to improve the apartments. I also had a huge problem with the noise at night due to noisy tenants that liked to party and fight.
