I used to live across the street from these apartments. The owner has many properties around town, and was constantly upgrading the apartments with things such as new roof, paint, stair rails, and a great deal of attention to the landscape. It was unusual to look over and not see some kind of crew working away at keeping the place up.

The setting may not be for everyone. I noticed some reviewer said there are bugs. Well, there are bugs in the world. What kind of pansy wants to live without ever seeing a bug. Wildwood Apts are located in a forest, a gorgeous setting on Squak Mtn. It would be impossible to expect to move into a forest apartment building and not expect to see an ant or spider here and there. I still live on Squak Mtn and the odd bug does not send me into a panic. Having said that, I really doubt Wildwood Apts have a ton of bugs anyway.

If I were going to live there I'd want to be in one of the buildings that look out onto Issaquah Creek. During much of the year, the creek is more like a river so you can open your windows and hear the rushing water. The air is very fresh. For outdoor lovers there is a huge (football sized) field next to the creek that nobody seems to enjoy. Even though my family were not apartment residents, we occasionally walked down there with the kids and had a picnic. If you have a dog, and the apartments allow dogs, this would be a great place to let them run around as well.

The apartments are part of a trail system that connects with a huge network of trails on Squak. It is very easy to find the trail.

you lived ACROSS THE STREET from wildwood, why are you writing a review saying you lived at this complex for 8 years? what a bs review trying to get the rating higher...

thank you for your perspective. not having been biased by residence there, you offer useful objectivity a tenant might overlook.
