I wouldn't recommend living here

I lived at Coventry Place Apts from March '05 through December '05.

When I moved in, the parking lot wasn't lit well along with walkways and mailboxes. After living there for approximately seven months, they have added more lighting on walkways, improving the lighting situation.

The noise level was unusually higher than other apartments I lived at in the past. I had a neighbor who resided above me that made a lot of noise. The neighbor who lived above me had several noise complaints. He was threatening as he retaliated when someone complained about his noise. The tenant who lived above me managed to cause physical damage to my unit from their own unit. Maintenance had to come to my unit and fix the damage. The management staff at Coventry Place didn't work with me to find a resolution that would work for me and my daughter.

During my residence, I had to complain about exsessive furniture, blue tarps, garbage, etc. on residence balcony and walkways. During that time, the management sent notices out to all units to clean their balconys and walkways.

You can find dog and cat feces on the grounds. Also, there are a lot of outside cats living there. Some dogs live there, however, new residence cannot have dogs. The dogs that live there are "grandfathered" into the lease agreement.

There is a new "skate park" in the park and ride parking lot across the street. This brings a lot of noise and children ranging in ages 10 - 18 years old. It has become a hang out for kids. There is more concern for crime.

I had a noise complaint in regards to my upstairs neighbor, and the manager handled it immediatly. The noise stopped right away. The grounds a wonderful. I think that when you move into an apartment, you have to expect some noise, that's the way it is.
