I agree with previous comments. There were many things wrong with the apartment when I moved. Missing knobs in the dishwasher, missing thermostat knobs, broken cabinet doors, a refrigerator light that did not work. These things were promised to be fixed, and for the most part, never were. Not only was my deposit not returned, although I spent a lot of time cleaning it, and in my opinion left it much nicer than I got it, the management had the nerve to demand more money on top of the deposit that I kept. I felt I had no choice but to pay it, but it was ridiculous. I would NEVER live here again. I wish I had known others felt the same way prior to moving in... I never would have lived here had I known. Also, if you decide to live here despite the awful comments, carefully read the lease! This is the only place I've ever lived where they require YOU to clean the carpets and blinds prior to moving out, with your own money, providing them with receipts to prove you've done so. Otherwise these fees come out of your deposit... In my other experiences, the non-refundable part of a deposit is used for these costs. When I asked management about this, they claimed that the non-refundable fees were "administrative" basically just them being greedy. Please save yourself the hassle, and don't live here.
