Kind Managers and Landlord

There is a good, diverse community living at Sunridge Apartments, and the managers and landlord really make an effort to maintain the apartments, grounds, and are friendly to everyone. They will also evict people, after a warning, if they are disrupting the community in any way (from being too loud or smoking pot, etc.). It is also a few blocks from a P&R, which is convenient. However, there is also a "sexpresso" near the P&R (drive-through coffee shop where they hire young women to work, and they wear next to nothing to make and sell coffee---usually see middle-aged men lined up in their cars to "order their coffee"). Unlike any place else, even worse than the U-district, I am verbally assaulted at least a few times a week on the street (as I walk to the bus stop). I really attribute it to the sexpresso shop. Numerous cars have also been broken into. However, the police station and fire station are only a couple of blocks away. I do not feel safe or comfortable walking around by myself. The landlord will raise rent around $25 to $50 each year. I do feel safe in the apartment, because everyone seems friendly and managers are proactive (and live here). Overall, this is a very good apartment complex.
