I have lived here since July 2007 and I love it! This is my first time living alone without a roommate and I couldn't have found a better place. The building is controlled access, and all the units are remodeled with hardwood floors, slate or granite countertops, crown molding, etc. I know that no one can guarantee safety, but safety was a huge issue for me and I feel extremely safe in my apartment. It is also only a few blocks from the Sheriff s station and that is comforting.

The apartment building is extremely quiet. I ve only had a problem with noise once, and the management took care of it right when I called even though it was midnight (I was expecting no one to answer and just to leave a message and they would just take care of it in the morning). Other than that I swear I must be the loudest resident because I never hear anyone else and it makes me wonder if they can hear me! The only other problem I had was that I smelt cigarette smoke in my apartment and Sunridge is a non-smoking building. And they tracked down the problem right away and I haven t smelt smoke since.

Parking also isn t bad, someone was in my space once, but like the noise, management took care of it right away. I feel bad for the person that was parked there, but I follow the parking rules so that I don t get my car towed, and it s your fault if you don t follow them or take the time to read/learn them. And you can always call management if you are unsure if the spot is reserved or for guests. They do have a few guest parking spots, but if they are full you can always find parking on the street (it s a small apartment building, with more than enough spots for the residents that live there). I also have never heard of someone car being broken into, but that can happen anywhere, even in your own driveway if you own a house. So if that is your worry or complaint, I say get an alarm and don t leave anything valuable in your car. It s really just common sense.

I have had nothing but a pleasant experience living at Sunrisge. Not only is the management and staff and the owners extremely helpful, they are also extremely nice. I forgot that it was the 5th once, and the manager called me before they were about to leave for the bank and asked if I had my rent check because she didn t want me to be late. I was so happy that she called because I had the check on my counter, I had just completely forgot! I have worked in property management for years, so I knew exactly what I wanted and exactly what to expect, and I feel that I got it and then some at Sunridge.

My only complaint would be closet size, but there is nothing anyone can do to change that. Other than that I love it here and plan on staying for a few more years until I buy a home.
