I'll be glad when my lease is up.

I'm sure there are residents who are nice people, who know how to put a trash bag in a dumpster, who pick up after their pet, who would never pull into a community parking lot at 2:30am with their stereo booming away or think the lot is a fine place to have a drunken argument and vomit all over yourself. Who would never let their kids vandalize the mail room, scream and swear unsupervised in the pool, jump on cars and ignore you when you tell them stop, or steal bicycles for profit. We just don't happen to live next to the people who - don't - do these things.

Do you want a clean pool and spa' Safe work out room' Keep looking. The pool has never looked clean. The spa and pool are mostly full of kids, never supervised by parents. The workout room is sometimes locked, but that doesn't stop people from climbing in the window, especially if they don't live here. I never go to the workout room after dark. Not safe.

Do you like barking, howling, crying dogs left alone on a patio deck night and day' It's a lease violation, plus a sad way to neglect your pets. Management does nothing.

Skeevey, just plain sad, and not worth the money. I've been here less than a year and 3 neighbors have told me the same thing: the new people moving in are trash.

Ditto the comments on garbage. Sometimes I have to wait up to 2 days to dump garbage and recycling when the dumpsters are over flowing, which is most of the time. Many people here haven't a clue how to recycle anyway. The recycling dumpster is plan B when the first dumpster is full.

Security could make most of these problems go away, but that would mean Pinnacle would have the desire to improve the place. More and more apartments are going condo in Kenmore, so why should they bother with improvements' And I just heard the complex was sold. More condos'

Is there anything to like' The vaulted ceilings are lovely.

DON'T BOTHER--THE PROPERTY WAS JUST SOLD AND IS GOING CONDO! I notice today that the overall rating of The Alexan is 2 points lower than the approval rating of George W. Bush. Yes, I understand that the property has been sold, which would explain the attempt to clean the place up a bit over the past 2 months. The central courtyard around the leasing office looks great--the rest of the grounds look like crap. I hope the new owners opt for a different managment company than Pinnacle--new management could not possibly do a worse job. I don't know how this place could go condo with the shoddy underlying construction, but nowadays who knows?

I figured they were up to that, but they will be hard pressed to pass them off as condos, you can't polish a turd after all and since they never make the druggies and the 24/7 bass party wigger kids GTFO, it will be an uphill battle.
