I have lived at Desertbrook apartments for around one year and six months. At first i thought it was so great and the location was good. That may still be true but the staff i absolutely horrible. Once Julie got into the office everything went down hill. From the moment she got here she was already up my ass about 'illegal parking' because i like to back up into parking spacing. And so.. yesterday there was one open parking spot close to my apartment and i missed it so quess what i did' I backed up into the parking spot. The next day i have this green sticker on my windshield for backing up. It pisses me off when you have a brand new car and stick s sticker to it, i mean can you not write it down and not ruin my windshield. But that is honestly beside the point you can stand there and see 10 other cars backed up into a spot but yet my car is the only one. This is the 4th time i got a damn sticker on my car and know what, i have never seen one on any other car or truck. And there are cars that never ever move and dont have stickers, but i backed up once and thats what i get' Next month my lease is up and you bet it, i am moving. This really pushed me over the edge, the staff is rude. Julies assistant (i do not remember her name) is so unprofessional- she has her boyfriend in the office when Julie is gone, she is always on her email, myspace.. etc whenever i walk into the office. I asked for a screendoor 4 weeks ago(since i never had one) because the weather is warming up and you can believe it, i am still waiting for it. Julie always has a nasty attitude and i cant wait until she is out of the office. I was loyal to desertbrook apartment and enjoyed it here and the staff until Julie and her staff came so my advise to people looking into renting at Desertbrook is to keep looking there is better apartments. I pay $675 for a 2 bedroom and trust me, its not worth it. (Oh yeah- my rent was ALWAYS $650 until Julie got here and now its $675).
