Don't do it.
The apartments themselves are spacious -- and they'd be a hell of a lot nicer if they'd been updated some time since 1970. I'm one of the few consistently employed people here -- as in, I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, I went to a university for training and I don't wear a name tag. Be prepared to be surrounded by welfare queens and ghetto boys.
I moved in sight-unseen because I was moving to town, and signed a year lease. When the lease is up, I'm outta here.
Cops are here regularly, noisy all the time and the people are creepy. Management is NOT on top of things and the maintenance guys are barely competent ("What leak, I don't see a leak." (me, pointing) -- "Right there.).
