I lived here for about a year. What drew me in was the size of the apartments. They are HUGE! The size was the only positive thing, I had nothing but trouble other than that. Our unit was very dirty upon moving in. Supposedly, they hire a cleaning service to clean the apartments after move-outs, but it turned out that they hire a family member (like a neice or daughter in law) to do a minimal job. We had a giant yellow stain on the kitchen floor and the fireplace didn't operate correctly. After a few days after moving in, stains on the carpet started to resurface. Management assured us that all of this would be fixed immediately. It never did. Make sure you note every little thing when doing the inspection!!! When I moved out, I was blamed for staining the carpets, causing the yellow stain AND breaking the fireplace. Good thing I had noted EVERYTHING and they were quiet after that. The cops were called to the unit above me and next door to me for domestic violence. You could hear the neighbors all the time. I watched the cops drag and cuff my next door neighbor (a woman) out her front door, kicking and screaming. The neighbor above me had a little girl and her boyfriend would come over and beat the crap out of her. I heard everything! My 2 toilets and bathtubs were "harvest gold". The utility bills were outrageous. The A/C didn't work. The management used the cabana for personal use and wouldn't let residents use it because it was "under construction". Management also lets lots of their relatives live there for cheap or for free. Tanning bed bulbs are not replaced. Landlady is extremely moody (Arlene) and just a mean person in general. I have lived in many many apartments and always had a good experience where ever I went. Even when most people had complaints. This, by far, was the worst place I've ever lived. But I did learn a lot about not trusting apartment management. I will always watch my back from now on.
