Bend Of The River

I love the fact that it's pretty peaceful...the road behind the apartments isn't busy. The "front" view is partly the parking lot, but mostly trees and the river. The best floor to be on is the upper to get this kind of view. The trail is lovely to walk on. You can even fish some times out of the year along the green river if you are into that. Neighbors are all fairly nice and respectful. "Quiet time" is 10 and people typically quiet down about that time. I like the layout of my apt (I have a small 1 bedroom). There's ample space. Everyone seems to have some sort of animal since they are allowed, which is pretty cool. My only quarrel is the management. It's tough to actually find anyone in the "office", if you could call it that, and getting a response back is pretty much impossible. You have to continually call until you get a person on the line. I've never actually seen a maintenance person. I had one maintenance call in when I first moved in and it took a month for them to finally check it out, and they didn't even fix the problem. I've just dealt with it. BUT, I do like the quiet and how it's off the beaten path, so I would recommend this place to a friend. We'll see if an emergency maintenance situation occurs, I may change my answer. But for now, it's a fairly decent place to live.
