Katie, the manager, is wonderful. She makes sure that everyone is safe, and comfortable. I have lived at the Brookside for over a year, and will continue to live there until I purchase a home. The property is well-maintained, and the units are spacious. My children and I like our home.

I have lived at these apartments for almost 5 years now and though they are the most affordable, the rent has been raised too many times now for this property!!! The manager is NEVER in the office except on days rent is due and then the rest of the time you can never get a hold of her. If she does not want to answer your call, she will not as they have caller ID and knows who is calling. She is too busy babysitting her grandkids as her daughter is never home to take care of them. I feel a new manager needs to step up to the plate as the old manager is too tired!

Considering her daughter passed away, and she has taken on full responsibility of her Grand-daughter(who lost her only parent), I think that Katie does a wonderfull job. She has always answered my phone calls, and I have never had a problem getting questions answered or maintenance issues(few and far between) attended to. I have even been able to work out an arrangement to pay my rent on a weekly or bi-weekly term, in the past, when I was struggling to pay rent in a 1-lump sum. As far as rent being raised, a small inflation related rent increase with the signing of a new lease, is the only raise in rent I have had, and I have been there for over 2 years. The rent has nothing to do with the manager, and everything to do with the OWNER of the property. Whoever placed this negative comment on this account, ought to be ashamed of themself. If you know so much about the Manager and her family, you should know that considering the circumstances, she is doing a wonderful job. I recommend this apartment complex to anyone who needs affordable, comfortable, flexible living accomodations.
