I have lived at the Brookside for a long time, about 8 years now. My apartment has always been maintained in a timely order, Katie and Mark make sure everything is fixed, if they can't fix it, they replace. If I have ever had a personal problem or financial problem Katie listened and we worked it out, she made sure I could pay my rent, if not all at once, when I could. To the person who has lived here for 5 years and can't get in touch with Katie, well, I know for a fact there is an answering machine and a drop box by the front door of the office and Katie live on-site at the Brookside, I have never had a problem getting in touch with her, in fact, I have seen her in the office as late as 8pm on some nights, she welcomes you in anytime. Well, I know if you give a 20 Day Notice to the manager you can move, if you don't like where you live or who you live with, give notice and move, and as you say if you can't get in touch with Katie, put you notice in writing and put it in the drop box, it will still be official. I love the Brookside and Katie. Katie has been there for I think 11 years and she still cares and still cleans the apartments when they are vacant, so that is probably why "5 year resident" couldn't get in touch with her. Well, I will sign off now, also Katie has lost a daughter about a year ago, God bless her, she still works there and still can smile, considering.
