Living at Centrestone in 2002 was the worst year of my life and depressed all the time from the disgusting place. First, I'm a generally positive person and absolutely love my new place, but I saw nothing good at Centrestone. Here are the problems: management are a bunch of incompetent, uncaring human beings; the whole place is filthy; major noise problems from loud music, parking lot used for car racing, etc.; building is so poorly constructed that you hear everything and every smell is sucked into your apartment; management never fixed men's sauna after being lied to frequently that it always worked before I moved in and after a dozen complaints; pool/jacuzzi was closed most of the time; other people frequently parked in my carport but management would never do anything about it; after-hours service company changed so frequently that management would never provide the new phone numbers and service companies would either never return phone calls or would say their company wasn't servicing Centrestone anymore; apartment repairs took forever; rent was too high for a living in this ---- hole; major ventilation problem in my unit and most have mold problems, but i had a fruit fly problem; people smoke everywhere including outside your doorway in the common areas and management won't correct problem; and one of the worst problems of all was how bad packages were handled as another reviewer explained. Also, why do they have a gate' is it suppose to leave crime outside the complex' why bother, because crime is the worst within side the complex. Police were always there and my single woman neighbors were terrified at night and we would often witness incredibly suspicious activity. Avoid that place at all costs and if you are desperate for a cheap place, live in a box at a park since it will be more luxurious than Centrestone.
