High rent with NO new features

From: -Anonymous-

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007

We recently moved out of Country Glen, after living there and calling it home for seven years. We started the Country Glen Block watch program ( which the new management refuses to support).
Our tenture at Country Glen for the most part was "almost reasonable".
Nonetheless, The new owner went up on rent where anyone on limited funds for housing could not afford. We lived in two units there, and both refrigerators in BOTH apartments kept spewing dust on top, the floor and behind, the Washing machiene's water pump blew out, leaving us for a week in water. The carpet was not replaced.

The "new garbage"compactor was barely ever compacted. Many times trash was four feet high around it. Lot's of people store their trash on their balcony's due to the location of the single compactor.

The FirePlace cheminey's NEVER were cleaned in seven years that is a fire hazard.
Nonetheless, the new owner refuses to accept section 8, and has said "he does not want that kind of people in his apartments".
SO, with the rent going up to 955 for a two bedroom two bath apartment that is too high.
The newly painted cabana area is nice eye candy, but forget them doing the same thing
to apartment units.

When we moved in, it was nice, actualy nice! When we moved out, it hardly would make the cover of "good housekeeping".
I would not suggest anyone to move into CG, as it would be a vital mistake.

We did get 100% of our deposit back though, per the managers statement when we moved in.
It really upset the office staff because they could not charge us for painting, carpet etc, after being there seven years.

Im glad to have moved, but wish the new owner would get a life.
Its not SEATTLE, its not BELEVIEW, its freeking Kent.
Who in their right mind would pay that much money for an apartment with snooty management, and an awful OWNER and a puney apartment management company in KENT!
