I have tile in my entry and kitchen area. The fixtures are brushed nickle, which is the most popular right now. My washer and dryer don't match...but so what, it all cleans this same. My fireplace is tiled and does not took like it came from the dark ages. The paint on the buildings is modern. You sound really hard to please to me. These apartments seen to be no more than 10 years old, and that is new enough for me, since most are 20 yrs or better g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
