Should Be Called Water Creek

When I moved in, my unit flooded within a week thanks to what they told me was a careless upstairs neighbor. It has flooded three times since then even though "Carless Neighbor" moved out. I did some canvassing of my neighbors, and it seems the flooding is not limited to my unit. I am certain it is a problem with the pipes.
The worst part by far is having to clean up after a leak (big or small), but another problem is that the water is shut off frequently. Everytime a leak happens in any unit in the building everyone gets to enjoy hours without water.
I would suggest you not move in here for many reasons (the management is awful since Heather left, maintenance is non existant when you have a problem, work orders are routinely lost, the units are poorly built to begin with, there are many undesirable renters in the community, marijuana notices have been sent out because the smell is overhelming at times, etc) but the leaking is the main one.
If you do move in, don't make the mistake I did and get a 1st or 2nd floor unit. Get a unit on the top floor. And if you can't get a top floor unit, get renters insurance because I learned the hard way it is your responsibility to fix all of your water damaged property that occurrs as a result of their substandard plumbing.
