My boyfriend and I have been researching apartments on this site before taking a look at any of them.

We went to Hazel Gardens because the ratings were fairly positive about the property.

When we arrived the leasing agent was on the phone so we waited in the lobby until she was off the phone.

When she came out she didn't greet us in a friendly way.

In fact the entire time we were there she was rude and gave us very short answers to our questions about the apartment available.

She treated us as though we were little kids (we are both in our mid 20's).

Very unprofessional and I will not be spending my money at a place where they are disrespectful and discriminate against young adults.

The "leasing now" sign was out front infront of the complex off of 256th. We went in and talked with the woman in the office; she said there would be one unit available soon (wasn't available to be seen at the time since it was still occupied). The woman in the office told us someone else had already filled out an application due to their interest in the same apartment that would soon be available. I believe the monthly rental fee she quoted us was around $975.

I apologize for the way you feel you were treated by the leasing consultant and would like to state that Hazel Gardens follows all fair housing regulations and never discriminates in any way towards anyone. The now leasing sign is Always kept in front of the property in order to obtain contact info in the event we have a unit available in the future. Once again please accept our sincere apologies, we certainly hope you will reconsider giving us another chance :)
