We moved to this complex from a small, older one in south Seattle. We thought it would be a haven from violence and loud activity. Boy were we wrong. To start things off, when we moved into our apartment it had not been cleaned. The tub was thick with junk as were the cupboards and walls. The blinds were broken but functional. Then came the mold problem. We had reported it on three different occasions but were told we needed to ventilate the apartment better. How much better can you ventilate than by running fans 24/7, especially during the winter'!' Three shootings occurred within three months, loud groups of kids hung out into the night, the mold continued to grow, issues we had with the apartment were never addressed. In the year and eight months we lived there, there had been three different management teams. Each worse than the previous. At move out time my husband did a walk-through with the manager and she told him that we would get our deposit back. A week and a half later we get a notice that we OWE $108.00!!! For our dogs going to the bathroom on the carpet. Well my dogs were potty trained and never left alone on the carpet. I can say that with 98% certainty. They said our blinds were broken and needed to be replaced (which they hadn't really been touched since we moved in), the drip pans on the stove needed to be replaced (which we had bought new ones the day we moved out), just to name a few issues. If we were to re-sign a lease our rent would have went up $150 from the time we moved in. There was no report of the condition of the apartment upon our move in, no report of the mold, and the staff who should have taken the reports are no longer working there. How convenient for them. So if you move in here, take pictures upon moving in and out. We are reporting the disgusting mold problems and the pictures to the state board of health. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

I left my apartment spotless upon moveout and was also told I would get my deposit back. I then recieved a letter saying I owed money! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please do the same so something can be done about their unlawful ways!
