Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
I lived at Indigo Springs from Jan 2001 to Feb 2002. Overall, it was a nice place to live. The couple who did housekeeping and maintenance were friendly and helpful. We had a beautifule 2b 2bth end unit in building 8 that faced the wetlands so our balcony was private and we had lots of windows. The master bedroom was huge. I liked the layout of the kitchen. There was lots of closets and storage space.
The things I didnt like about the apartment were the fact that it had a half sized ater heater so if you had to run your dishwasher, you had to wait an hour or so to take a shower. Tenants do get loud occaisionally. Parking is limited, yu have to ay for a carport or a garage. Open parking is limited. If you have more then 3 cars of guests come they?ll have to find spots on the other end of the complex. In the 2bed 2 bath floorplan (the 1000 sq ft one) the living/dinig "great room" area was not really big enough for our couch, chair TV and dining room table.
Equity residential manages this property and the problem with them is that they switch office personnell like every 2 to 3 weeks. You aren?t able to really develop a rapport or long term relationship with anyone in the office.
In the end, we left to live closer to work. But, we are thinking about moving back to the Kent area and are considering moving back to Indigo Springs
