Really overpriced if you ask me. Especially considering that in the 6 months I've been here there have been 2 breakins and a mugging... but... I suppose that's Kent for you. Seemed like such a nice, quiet, up and up sort of place. Not so much. Plus, they've leased out to this group of at least 30 kids who are here for the summer - really annoying lot, they are but no matter how many complaints people make, they're still here. Apartment itself is in overall decent condition. Parking's a little tight sometimes. Maintenance staff are really nice... but... they never did get back to me about getting my chimney cleaned this past winter so while the apartment has a fireplace, we didn't get to use it much. Washer and dryer in our unit are tiny and OLD. Found out a while back that the sprinklers in our apartment don't work and never heard back on that. View from our balcony is nice though... too bad the balcony isn't covered so we can enjoy it more often. It's not a BAD complex really, but DEFINITELY overpriced for what it is.

How much research did you do before moving in? If you thought it was overpriced, why DID you move in? The annoying kids, are they doing anything illegal? The apartments can't just kick someone out for being annoying. And to evict someone as a nuisance requires documentation from three seperate sources, according to Washignton State law. So it's not really a matter of the office ignoring your complaint, they have to operate within the law, or it won't hold up in court, you see.When you say, "that's Kent for you", it seems you have some idea what Kent is like, whether it's true or not. So why did you choose that town to live in if you are aware of what to expect? Not trying to get at you, but you really need to look at this from all perspectives. Talk to the office about your worries. Keep in mind, those kids are apparently only there for the summer? Sounds like a pleasant September for you!
