My family has lived here for 2 years.

When we started renting the mangaement was excellent and things were handled in a timley matter.

SInce then management has changed twice and now owners.

Our apartment has been broken into, son's bike stolen and the air covers for the tires on our cars stolen 4 times each.

The neighbors upstairs sound like elephants.

The parking is a joke.

The management NOW are rude, attitude ridden and only care about money.

We have been staring at a giant green dumpster for 2 months with the thought of it staying until October or longer due to "renovations".

However, the renovations are new carpet and counter tops.

THAT'S IT.

I paid for my dog to be added to my lease and am now forced to pay again IF they even let me keep her because now she is now an allowed breed of dog.

This is due to lost paperwork on their part and never letting me have copies.

I constantly deal with people in loud musiced cars or talking on their cellphones right outside my window at all hours of the night.

There is dog poop everywhere because half of the owner's don't care.

The management lies when they are caught not doing what they said they would.

They side with each other even when you have proof.

The price for these apartments should still be in the 700's as this is the most overpriced piece of white trash/ghetto crap i have ever lived in.

I can't wait until my lease is over to get the heck out of dodge.

Water, garbage and sewer is separate, with no explanations on why it cost more monthly here for us to pay for water, sewage and garbage than my parents who have a $400,000 dollar house.

I mean, seriously $80 plus A MONTH for what' We don't use that much water, and no one in the office can tell us any reason why it is that high.

There is plenty of mold problems in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and when called to ask to do something about it they brought bleach to clean it up, THAT'S it.

I already did that I wanted it out of my freaking walls.

It is making us sick.

The mold issue is common - should have been dealt with. You can download all of the information from www.washingtonlawhelp.org for all your rights. FPI is racking up violations, and making little effort to try and work on any tenant relations. This is widespread throughout their properties. Do all complaints in writing. Also beware they are trying to charge people leaving for normal wear and tear. GET PHOTOS, VIDEO and DO WALK THRU. Also check your cleaning deposit arrangement, if you paid non refundable, they can not charge you for "normal" cleaning, nor can they charge excessive charges. MOLD is a safety hazard and needs to be tested, not bleached. You are not the only unit they have done this with.
