My wife and I lived there for a year. When this was owned by Equity, it was GREAT, now it's owned by FPI. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. First for the most important of our experience, DO NOT count on getting your deposit back without a vicious fight. TAKE PICTURES and DOCUMENT WELL, EVERYTHING. When you move out they WILL charge you a hefty cleaning charge no matter what. You can clean the carpets and they will still charge you to clean the carpets themselves. Stay away from these guys! It took me a huge fight with "Assistant Community Director", 4 visits to the office and mulitiple calls to both the office and FPI Management (who NEVER returned ANY calls) to finally get what was left of my deposit over TWO whole months later. If I had not been so determined, I doubt I would ever have gotten anything back. They even tried to charge me extra BEYOND my deposit! My wife and I are super clean, no animals, no smoking, shoes off in the house type of people. Our apartment had been spotless!!! Yet we were still charged for carpet cleaning, and drywall touchup even though I pointed out that their repairman damaged it taking out the old water heater. They conveniently "lost" that paperwork and somehow "found it" after my fight with with the ASSistand Community Director on the phone. Also "he" lied to me about the reason my Sucurity Deposit Refund did not make it back to me and said that it had been sent to our old address. I have address forwarding set up and I happen to know that he just decided not to send the letter needed to FPI until March 7, despite me talking to him in mid JANUARY about the issue. FPI STILL sent the check to our old apartment address and it got forwarded to our new one, along with the copy of the letter that the ASSistant C.D. didn't send them until March 7th. I can't speak for the rest of the staff, but the A.C.D. lied to my face and will surely do the same to you. Good luck getting your deposit back if you move there! Again, STAY AWAY from these theiving crooked liars! As other reviews state, parking is TERRIBLE unless you will pay for your spot, and their "fix-it" guys are terribly dirty and sloppy. They'll even wear their muddy shoes into your apartment! Good luck cleaning up after them!

I completely agree. I have had the same problem and in fact gave up on ever seeing any of my deposit back. I spent 12 hours going thoroughly over the apartment making sure everything was clean, carpets included, oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, EVERYTHING and they still tried to charge me a cleaning feel. They also tried to charge me for brand new carpet stating that it was pet stained, WELL, i didn't have a pet and my apartment was flooded when my water heater broke. So go figure. I was told that instead of putting spots on my initial and ending walkthrough that I should have put Pet stains. Who was i to know it was stained by a previous pet but I sure as hell am no paying for them to seal the cement for pet problems. NEVER EVER EVER EVER LIVE HERE.
