3 seasons out of the year, it's nice

This will be my last season here at Island Park. As soon as my lease is up, I am out of here. In the summer, this nice, peaceful lake turns into a stinking algae filled pit. You can't have your windows open in the summer because the smell will gag you.

I live at Island Park currently and after reading these reviews i think that it is sad that this has become a venting post for people who obviously have broken the rules and the management has kicked them out. I have lived here for 18 years, the lakes are beautiful, the landscaping and parking lot are the cleanest on the block. I was at the pool today and someone from the next apartment building was sneaking into our pool because their pool was dirty. That tells you somthing. I tan regualrly and there is brand new bulbs in the machine. The maintenance is so nice! I even get a call from the office when my work is done to make sure they did a good job. There has been good managers here. Some of them more strict than others, but always professional and friendly. Like most apartments the owners have changed over the years, but the staff we have now are great! We had an ice cream social just a couple of weeks ago. I have been here a long time and I plan on being here much longer.
