First of all, I am in Property Management and I will tell you, a "deposit" typically holds an apartment for 72 hours. So basically you have 3 days to change your mind in order to get that full deposit back. Due to the situation, you may try going to the corporate office, since you were unhappy with the actual apartment itself. You may have better luck trying them instead of dealing with the property itself....Best of Luck!

I am a property mgr as well and the above advice is WRONG!!!! WHen you pay a deposit there is no buyers remorse period unless specifically stated in the application. In the future you should throughly read the application you sign before handing over a deposit to an apartment that you've never seen.
