Island park is such a pretty place to live.
I have lived here for 18 years.
I have never had any problems with crime, maintenance, the pool, the tanning bed, or the managers.
Sure, nothing it perfect! But if a mistake is made, every effort is made to correct it.
The property has been sold several times over the years.
Some managers better than others.
But lets be real, no place is going to be PERFECT! I read about crime, that is silly.
I have never had a problem.
Parking is a little tight in areas, but the new manager just sent out a letter asking us for suggestions and I was told they are working on it.
They just painted common areas, and the grass areas are so clean and well maintained.
Maintenance guys are great, very friendly and on time.
The office always calls to check in to make sure things are done on time..
I plan on staying.
I think the people who write bad things are probably those that broke the rules and got kicked out! So be optomistic people!

I guess you haven't tried to use the hot tub lately (broken again), tanning beds (bulbs out). I am a resident, and have not received any such letter about parking, which is an issue.
Perhaps you are a management shill?

also, you have not MOVED OUT yet. We loved it until we were hit with a huge bill upon move out.
