Well I have been here for 3 years now and fir now, I'm stayin. There is alot to complain about but I think that's everywhere, especially in this part of Kent. There's pros and cons just like everything else.It is in a convient locations. Close to the downtown shopping area, food stores and fast food. The schools are very close and the staff is friendly (to me atleast). On the bad side, things break get fixed and break again. The staff changes pretty frequetly and last year they removed to garbage containers to put in one dumpster!!! That has been nasty, horrible and disgusting!!! In the winter Racoons starting camping out my the dump in the night, making it unsafe to walk on the grounds. In the summer there are alot of bugs out too. Being that I have children and I like the schooling the pros outweigh the cons and I'm stayin

I have lived in James street crossing apt for about 1 year. and I it was a horrible place to live. I got my car broken into three times. someone from the staff came into my apt with out any noticed and unlocked my house door and came right in. This is not a safe place to live. the staff are always rude, they dont have any idea about anything, There is rats there that crawled up into my car and messed my motor up. There is alot of gang activity there and people are always walking around with bats. This is not a place to live... DONT LIVE HERE.

lawsuit?....that's an extreme possibility....
I have been here about a year now and it's been miserable. The staff are a bunch of idiots. I had witnessed car break-ins, enraged residents, abandoned cars, and a maintenance crew that can't fix the simplest thing without having to fix it over and over in the space of a day. When it comes to the well being of residents the manager doesn't do a thing about it. I have heard of kids getting hurt in these apartments. I will never sign another lease. I don't have kids but I can't imagine what those parents are going through...I suggest for those who are looking at these apartments to run and find something else. ESPECIALLY if you have kids.Don't put them in danger. There are way better apartments out there.
