Was getting better, but now getting worse...

Well, here's a little story. I have been here for 4 1/2 years now, and seen some ups and downs. The place was OK when I first moved in other than the occasional dumpster fire, when Tecton owned it. It went downhill a little when they released the place back to original owners. ComAm then came in and bought the place, renamed the place to The Bravado On 27th Apartments, remodeled and did improvements, and did an overall great job, except for raising the rent of course.
Last spring though, ConAm sold the complex to Glacier Management, and ever since then it has started getting worse. Alot worse than I've ever seen it. These past couple weeks the pool has been closed, possibly for the rest of the summer. The drug dealers are coming back, and are very pushy this time and get upset when they don't make money off of you. We've had a shooting here. The lighting here has gone to hell. And the convienence of having a Fred Meyer next door is going away soon, because a cement wall is supposedly going to be built, which will cut off direct access to the new store when it opens and make us all have to make an extra 15 minute walk past the other apartment complexes that are even WORSE than here, and around to Pacific Highway, in order to get to the new Fred Meyer and the bus stops. They also apparently hired security, and they were here a few times, but they have gone AWOL now and haven't been seen since. The gates don't even work anymore.
All in all, I feel I am not getting my money's worth here anymore, and am starting to not feel safe either for the first time here.
Someone on some other ratings site was seeking information on contacting Glacier Management about the problems here, since most of the office staff here is pretty much useless (they leave early half the time before the posted closing time). The website is www.glaciermanagement.com. We should all go there and demand that they make sweeping changes here. I wish I could move to where I would get my money's worth but I am not able to financially at this time. I think first we need to get these drug dealers out of here. This is our neighborhood and not their's. Forming a neighborhood watch would be a good idea. This is getting rediculous. F*** these druggies with their guns. They actually need MORE SWAT team action here, to get these thugs out of here and out of the neighborhood once and for all. If the SWAT teams come enough times that'll scare 'em all away.

I am a former employee and Pacific Pointe and was there for nearly 3 years. During my time there I tried my best to improve the community. There are some great residents that I had the pleasure of getting to know! When I left (shortly after ConAm took over) I was hoping they would continue my efforts to improve the community but I have drove by recently and it seems to have gone downhill. I know it is mostly due to the surrounding community so hopefully the owners of the four-plexes accross the street will step up and take more of an active role in improving their quality of tenants! Good luck to those remaiing tenants!
