My wife and I have lived here through two management staffs. The first was a real mess - didn't fix potholes, garbage piled high, etc... This management staff has cleaned up those kind of problems and it was an improvement initially. That, of course, meant higher rent, but I felt I was getting a better environment for the extra money.

The biggest problem has been dealing with the accounting side of this management staff. We've never been late on any payments, but we got an eviction notice stating we didn't pay one month. After showing a staffer our receipt (always get a receipt, no matter where you live!), it was supposedly fixed. The next month, we were given a notice that we had outstanding late fees from that month. After again showing that we paid on time, they told us the problem was corrected. One month later, we were given another late fee notice, I went down and voiced my frustration, and was assured the problem was fixed. The next week, another notice, another trip to the office, and this time a very contrite manager apologized over a clerical error.

It seems to be smoothed out now, but I imagine this is the sort of thing that is bound to happen in a complex of over 500 units. The only other frustrating thing is that the management doesn't enforce the rules regarding how many cars each unit is allowed to park here. One unit in our building has at least five cars, four of which are cargo vans. This kind of thing makes parking a hassle sometimes.

Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with the maintenance staff, the walkways and ponds (our son's first work was "duck" because of this apartment), and the noise from other tenants is sparce and not a problem.

funny, same thing happened to me. I sort of doubt it was just a clerical error.
