The only reason they came to fix my hot water heater when it broke is that water was leaking into the downstairs neighbors apartment. The neighbors were so loud and rude. But worst were the management staff. I paid my rent and would get a notice it was overdue. When we moved out, they told us we never paid a deposit, so wouldn 't be getting anything back....we paid first and last month, PLUS a month's rent as deposit when we moved in because we were from out of state (at least that's the BS reason they gave us). They somehow mysteriously lost record of that. I flat our told them I refused to pay my last month's rent, so they better "find" that money we paid to move in. When we moved to another state and tried to use them as reference less than a month later, they HAD NO RECORD OF US EVER HAVING LIVED THERE! Which caused major problems for us. However, even though they had no record of us living there, shortly thereafter we received a bill for "carpet cleaning and other expenses" for $500 dollars! Not only did we have the carpet shampooed after we'd moved everything out, the place was SPOTLESS when we left. It was actually cleaner than when we moved in! Of course we protested this bogus charge, but after a few months we got a letter from the managements attorney saying if we didn't pay, they'd take us to court, and if we didn't show for court, we'd have to pay all the legal fees, plus the $500. They knew we were in another state, on the EAST COAST,so it would cost us more than $500 just to fly out there to go to the damn hearing. We ended up paying under protest...talk about a rip-off. No wonder they let criminals live there, they ARE criminals! Shame on them! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!
