Lived there for 10 months and ended up paying the remainder of my lease in full and penalty fees because I couldn't stand it there anymore. Kent is not the best place to live, and I should have looked around more before moving there (especially since there are huge mounds of stinky beauty bark that is just yards away from apartments). Here are the things I was not aware of when I moved in:
Limited Unsafe parking, VERY loud and obnoxious neighbors, with walls so cheap and thin, the grounds were not kept clean after the ducks, maintenance didn't speak a lick of english and therefore couldn't understand what needed to be fixed and had to make multiple trips to fix a simple problem. Staff only cared about filling that next apartment and not about the individual needs. Once you move in, you are forgotten. I didn't even get to see my apartment before the first day of my lease! They show you a apartment that has been furnished in IKEA only so you will think it is beautiful. They don't bother to show you the back side of the lot, where the worst of things are. Car was broken into several times and there was a chop shop in the apartment building next to me. I have lived in many apartment complexes, and this was THE worst. First advice to anyone trying to find a place to live over there is to look for a small complex and then go from there. Checks the area out day and night to see if it's a place you want to live, and take it all in. Don't make the same mistake many of us made by moving to this place.

I love the fact that people drive up to the community, rent at the community, and then somehow, realize that they moved in next to a mile high pile of beauty bark.. Somehow they manage to not see it, or smell it for that matter until after signing the lease. Slightly amusing to say the least...

OMG, u must live on the side where the beauty bark smell comes right in the window.... i had that problem to when I lived there.... the parkin is so bad almost makes u afraid to leave cause if ur not home before Jesus wake up u will not get a good parkin space believe me I no my carport was in Africa and my apt was in Japan.
