I visited the community in the summer of '08 in hopes of moving in due to a great move in special: No App fees, $100 deposit, 1ST 2 MONTHS FREE!! Reason I didn't move in, or even get to view a model was because of the leasing agent (----- I believe was his name). He claimed, the special, which I listed above was only valid if I gave my deposit the same day I viewed an apt. He kept pressuring me for the $100, and he WOULD NOT take me on a tour until I gave him the money. He was a ----!! So I left.

Also while I was there, I overheard a new tenant speaking w/a different agent about her paperwork to move in. Sounds like there was confusion between them about what was and wasn't required to move in. The tenant was pissed and asked for her deposit back so she could look else where, and the agent straight up told her "NO, it's non-refundable".

So seems to me they're MONEY HUNGRY w/unprofessional staff as well. Also I view Craigslist every so often to keep up w/ the market, and this community ALWAYS OFFER THE CHEAPEST PRICES, like crackhead cheap!! So I'm thinking they've just got to be desperate cuz they're running everyone away.

I totally agree. I got taken for $149 also. Office staff claimed that the deposit was refundable but it turned out that it wasn't. The girl was new and said it was a refundable holding fee. Money comes and goes so I'm not trippin. I take it as a life lesson. Their prices are $150 cheaper than when I looked at them in March 2009. $550 for a small one bedroom! They are tempting but I would never move there because of their reputation for crime and their poor management.
