I?ve lived at Royal Firs for almost two years now and unless I can buy a house before June of this year, I?ll probably renew my lease for another year. I was very surprised at the negativity about Royal Firs and wonder if I?m living in the same Royal Firs that the others are writing about. I was surprised to read about the police being here so often because I?ve only see them here about twice in the year and a half that I?ve lived here. Maybe I don?t notice because I live in the back of the property with my son and we pretty much stick to ourselves and we never have any problems. The office staff are very friendly. They always speak or wave when they see us and any time one of us go into the office for any reason, they are always friendly and helpful. The time or two I?ve need some minor repair, it was taken care of promptly. One writer mentioned something about bugs. We have never had any problems at all with bugs so I don?t know what that?s all about. I?ve looked in the apartment guide book and on the internet at other apartments and haven?t found any yet that has everything I want for the price I pay for rent at Royal Firs. My two bedroom, two bath aparment is 950 square feet. Other apartments are smaller square feet and some rents are even higher than what I?m paying now. I?ve found apartments that don?t accept pets, and some that don?t have washer/dryer or hookups in the apartments. And a lot of the two bedroom apartments only have one bathroom and still with less square feet. After doing the research I?ve done, I?ll stay with Royal Firs unless I can buy a house or find an apartment in my price range with more square footage.
