Very Profitable!

Rent an apartment. Advertise that it comes with free cable and water. Cool. A few months later- drop the cable provider, bring on another who now is going to charge you $40 for the same service you were getting free as part of your rent. Now you're paying your base rent price $40.
Water was included in the rent. They changed that to Minol-Mtr (ugh!) who charges $45 for the water service to tenants. Now you're base rent is rent $40 $45.
There was a recent rent increase. It was given with less than a month's notice. Another $50. So now your rent is base rent $40 $45 $ $50 rent increase.
You may have ONE vehicle on property. If you wish to have more, you must pay for it. Decals are free for the first one for your windshield, $10 if you need a replacement (This is pure profit since the towing company providing them doesn't charge the complex anything for it- it's just a deal managers use to take money under the table).
Storage of vehicles or trailers or whatever- $30 more.
In less than a year, an apartment that is still being advertised with free cable, water, storage, and parking is now costing well over $800 in these 'fees' that are supposed to be 'free' and 'included' in the price of the rent. I'm not sure, but I think I'd be wary of $125 in extra fees that can go up without notice for any reason.
Parking is enforced by whim only. If the management likes you, you're fine. If they don't, they can and will tow your vehicle as a nonrunning vehicle because they don't like it. Better keep that Isuzu gleaming pretty or it will get towed! And you must have a sticker in every windshield (for $10 each payable in cash only to the manager) or the vehicle will get towed- oh, the management is exempt though. No need for them to have stickers in their cars- the parking rules only apply to folks they don't like.
Would I recommend this apartment complex' No. Not in any way. Since the second day of living here, the management has proven to be unreliable, uncooperative, and caught in downright lies time after time. Vandalism is high. Vehicles and apartments are regularly damaged- the complex even has incidents on tape of vandalism happening. The culprits' Other residents in the park. Management's reaction' None. The same vandals caught before are still doing it and the management ignores it even with video evidence that they refuse to acknowledge. I'm not saying there were any payoffs involved, but surely something happened to keep the management happy and the vandals still at large. Money is a wonderful tool in such situations. Make up your own mind about that.
