A Fun and Friendly Community An Honest Review

Moving to a new area and finding someplace you feel at home is hard. Ive lived at the Royal Firs for over 7 years now and find that it fits my lifestyle and is close to work and other places I need to go. I wont lie and tell you its the best or worse place on earth but will be honest and tell you what I know.
People come and go for various reasons but those that stay help make the community a little better by being active and participating in the various functions that occur through out the year. The office staff is friendly and will work with you to resolve your issues as best they can. They will go out of there way to help you out but people should remember that it works both ways and keeping an open dialog with the staff reduces a lot of confusion in the long run. If youre overly demanding and expect all your problems to go away because youre renting then maybe its best you buy a home of your own so everything will be just the way you want it all the time. Living in an apartment community is a lot like having a really big family and sometimes you need to be willing to give a little now to get something more later on. We all remember growing up with brothers and sisters and getting along with friends and family.
I think everyone living here tries to get along and do their part. If youre OK with that then stop by and check the place out. You should expect that the units have been lived in before so may have some minor little dings or other flaws but overall most are very livable. The parking is good and the lighting is on at night so you can see. The landscapers show up during the weekdays during the summer and keep the grass cut and bushes trimmed. The pool is open and clean during the summer and the hot tub is open all winter along with the tanning room, sauna and weight room, so there are a few little things to do while living here that dont cost.
The maintenance people walk around the parking lot every day and clean up but sometimes there are little bits of things that get dropped or end up in the parking lot from the wind and winter storms. Its no worse then you will find in any other parking lot anywhere else. The noise level if OK and my concerns with noise have always been addressed without a problem. I dont mind a few bumps or bangs once in a while as those are normal apartment noises but expect that everyone will try and be respectful of their neighbors and keep their noise down. I guess flexibility is the key to living in any apartment community but if you find that difficult then you will probably find it difficult anywhere, not just here.
Most people dont ever bother to leave good comments or feedback for anything no matter how great it was or is. If something happens to strike them as wrong they are first in line to complain and let everyone know how awful everything was and how theyve been victimized. I would advise anyone to look past all the feedback here that is either all 5s or all 1s as those probably should just cancel each other out and really dont matter for much. Those that people actually took some time to write something and put some thought into how they graded the community should probably be the ones that you pay attention to and trust a little more. Anyway, hope this review helps you find the place youre looking for.
