I have read all these comments and understand where many of you are coming from. I myself have received many notices within the last 6 months. One of them was due to my deck being a "mess" and another one because my blinds were bent. I was very upset and went in to speak with the manager. I started to raise my voice and to my surprise, she just calmly asked me to calm down or she wouldn't talk to me. So, determined to get answers, I did. I told her that the past management had never had a problem with the items on my deck. (This is where I put my mops and sometimes my trash until I take them to the dumpster). I even had a nice desk on it. She explained that per my lease, these items were not allowed on the deck. There are only some items allowed and this is to help keep the community looking "clean".

Understanding this, I then asked her about my blinds. My cat tends to climb in my window and bend them back and I didn't want to pay for new blinds just to have my cat damage them again and pay once more. She gave me a tip on how to keep them nice, but told me that again, per my lease (she uses this allot) that the blinds have to stay in good condition. She did tell me that when people come on the property, if there are a ton of broken blinds everywhere it makes the property look bad.

I still was not happy with being told what i can and can't put on my deck or that I had to pay for new blinds before I moved out. That is until I walked home. I started noticing all the other decks and blinds and realized how bad it made the place look. I felt so bad for getting upset with her and then realized she was just doing her job and trying to help my home look better.

I too get woke up by loud stereos and children. I can't see how the car stereos can be controlled unless someone is sitting out in the parking lot 24/7 and seeing where they are going. I don't expect anyone to have all the cars memorized in this size of a property.

As for the kids, yes there are many that seem to be all over the place. I do know that the manager sent out notices telling parents that the kids cannot be outside without a parent if they are under 10. Most of them don't care and let the kids out anyway. I did hear the manager get into an argument with a parent once for telling the kids to go inside. The parent said she was not going to lock her kids up in the house all day. I have also seen that same day, kids refuse to tell her what apartment they live in when asked. In an effort, the manager has taken down the hoops on the basketball court because the kids were there at all hours of the night. (I asked because I live by it). The pool also closed early this year.

I think everyone needs to stop complaining so much and realize that many of the things she is doing is to help our homes look better.

I am not 100% happy here, but it is getting better. I just renewed my lease and encourage those who are good people to do the same. Good bye to the complainers and rule breakers! Especially those neighbors of mine who can't seem to stay quiet! odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
