Applied for approval to get an appartment. Was informed by Jaylin that we would be called by March 10. No call by that date. Had to make other arrangements for housing. Office refuses to return the $300 deposit. I am in the process of making a formal complaint to the Co. American Properties Managment Corp, Washington State Atty Generals office and H.U.D.

My experiance with Silver Springs.... First of all My experiance with jaylin was nothing but incrediable! she spent at min of an hour with me, if it was not for her patience, and genuine kindness, and professional way, I would not of rented in this hell hole. Jaylins now gone and the pyco manager who appears on drugs, has no time for any of the residents needs, she has time if its about her. She treats her staff horrible, and as I understand treated jaylin so horrible, I seen her crying on more than one occassion, and I cant blaim her for quiting. Big mistake on Managment's part, I never seen a harder worker, and such a kind staff as jaylin, if you notice the managers always firing so you will always have a new person who doesnt know their ass from a hole. I am sorry you lost your deposit, but I am sure that was not jaylins fault. When I went there it takes a long time to get approved, and jaylin was already gone by then, so it was thr other staff who should of called you. I would say the apartments are clean, and nice but the traffic, and the noise from sterio's coming in and out all hours of the night along with the drug issues.... do noy rent here! The Manager is on drugs, shes crazy and seems racist. And treats her staff horrible. I dont know why APM keeps that pyco around! She will start tormenting another staff member, blaim them for all her mistakes and demand that they are the prob. Wake up APM its your Manager!!!

Well, as a previous employee there at silver springs, I can tell you it's not completely the managers fault. Corporate believes in micro management and horribly strict rules that employees must follow. There is a high turnover of leasing agents there, but not due to the manager, most quit, and are not fired. The torment you speak of is because people don't do their jobs, and like any other boss the ride your a** to make sure you do your stuff right. I worked with Jaylin, and although she's a wonderful person, professionally she's a train wreck, she couldn't remember things from one day to the next, I caught whiffs of alcohol on her breath during work hours. Honestly she's lucky they kept her on. She had great potential she just couldn't get it together enough to succeed. If the manager is a racist, how come she has a black maintenance guy, and a Hispanic grounds keeper? If she was truly a racist, everyone there would know it...
