Bad experience!!! The staff treats the property like a highschool, they could really care less about you, they are now closing on sundays and have had the POOL CLOSED for the last 3 weeks, it was THE ONLY TIME THIS SUMMER that it was nice weather!!!!! I have only lived here 6 months and the staff has entered my apartment 4 times(they do warn you) to check the settings, to check the fire detectors, to change the blinds.... its weird! As for security, if you call a 17 yr old boy who is smaller than most girls security than ok, but it didn't offer me any comfort!
The police have been in our complex almost once a week, one time for gun shots in our complex at 5am, i was afraid to even go to my car! They try and say that it was just fireworks, but come on REAL people know the difference. The units them selves are nice, they keep them clean that is all that was good.

I see nothing has changed since my husband and I lived at Silver Springs a little over 2 years ago! I also had several scary experiences at Silver Springs. Once I was awakened at 2:00 a.m. to a verbal altercation (which appeared to be domestic violence in nature) in the middle of the parking lot in which several people were screaming at the top of their lungs--then one of the individuals mentioned to another man to "put his gun away because he was drunk". I called the police, and while I was on the phone with 911, one of the drunken men from the altercation began pounding on my door and continued attempting to violently open my door! The police surrounded the complex looking for the man with a gun and eventually found him--*with a gun*. I have never been more terrified in my life. I also had multiple experiences with rude neighbors yelling provocative and inappropriate statements at me from their balconies when I returned home from work late at night and was parking my car. I often called my husband down to walk me from the car to our apartment. One person even followed me from the ghetto neighborhood that Silver Springs resides in back to the complex. He sat in his car as though he was waiting for me to get out of my parked car. Once again, I had to rely on my husband for safety traveling the short distance from my parking spot to our apartment. And, finally, the pool was NEVER open during the 10 months we lived there. This included an entire summer. What's the point of having a pool when it's never open?! Silver Springs makes me cringe. I guess if you're okay with living in never-ending fear, and don't mind not sleeping because you are afraid another drunken man will try to break into your "home" while you are sleeping, then Silver Springs is the place for you!

the 'management' and staff at silver springs is extremely unprofessional, no wonder why they always have new office ppl and managers and maintenance guys. nothing ever gets fixed even though they tell you it gets fixed the same days. unless you can do a full workout before 6pm its pointless for them to have a gym since thats when they close. they dont rent movies to residents with good return rates because the people who dont return them hold everyone else up from renting new movies. half the time i go in there no one is in the office because they are out back smoking. and half the residents dont speak english and leave garbage everywhere.

Well I don't live in Silver Springs, but I have a friend who lives there. I thought that the units in side were nice and somewhat spacious, but after really visiting on regular basis, I could say that they have really down graded from nice to crappy. I experienced torn-up driveways and lots of foreigners running around. which is okay, but you should be able to come home to a nice enviornment, not a foreign village. So, I was looking into moving into the Silver Springs Apartments, but with all of the cosigning going around I think not. Silver Springs you guys need to clean up your act and apartment complex, because it causes a bad name. It sooo sad that things couldn't be better for this complex because with a bad name in todays economy low you wouldn't get very many people wanted to move into this complex with their hard earned money.

Silver Springs is the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in!!!! I am a single mom who works full time and money is tight. The pool is never open. When I moved in I made it clear that a pool was very important because I have two children and can't afford to take them out all the time. I have made several complaints about the pool never being open but they always say per my lease it does not have to be open. It has been closed more than it has been open which was the case last summer as well. So obviously this is not new. And for them to advertise to people looking for an apartment that they have this amenity which is never available to the residents is WRONG!! Also the garbages are always overflowing and surrounded by garbage. Everyday, you would think that would be some sort of health hazard but again they don't do much about it and after a long days work to come home and see the place you live covered with garbage is just sickening to the stomach.
