I?ve noticed that some of these reviews were written by people who obviously haven?t lived here. Four reviews were even written on the same day. That raises my suspicion even though the reviews were positive. If you are reading these reviews and using them as a basis on which to judge where you will rent your next apartment, be careful to discern between fact and fiction.
I would say that any review that doesn?t balance the positive and the negative is most likely a review written by someone with an agenda. I?ve read the type of review where the person writing it was exaggerating because they were misappropriately angry at some aspect of management. I?ve also read the manager of a complex pretending to be a resident and glowing about the complex and buttering it up. Both of these types of reviews get in the way of you understanding the complex that you are considering renting from.
A valuable review is one that weighs both the good and bad facets of the complex and remains open-minded. Don?t take advice from someone who is jilted because of their particular circumstance when the whole story may be a far different picture. In the same way, don?t let a glowing, positively biased review influence your decision. Read different reviews and trust the ones that don?t seem to have an agenda.
Choosing which complex to call your home is a difficult decision. This website is a wonderful resource for people who are considering renting, but it can also steer you in the wrong direction if you?re not careful. Weigh your decision carefully and I wish you the best of luck!
