Awesome Townhouses; lots of green, well planted space!

I wish I'd known about Ridgeview Apartments years ago. I've lived here for a year now, and this property has a lot going for it. It's about 30(') years old--which is a positive for me--for the rent money you get a much larger apartment or townhouse for the money because costs of construction were much less when this place was built so everything is bigger. Same thing goes for the property and grounds surrounding the buildings out back by the pool and office building is enough open, green space to build another entire apartment complex! Such a nice area to play and have some breathing room in this time of everything being so squeezed in and crammed everywhere else. My children love to play here. The pool--it's olympic sized with a very large fenced in sitting area. The townhouses all have private, fenced-in and gated backyard/patio areas. Perfect for a pet and/or a hammock, a wading pool, and flowers and tomatoes in the summer! I decided to rent a two-story, one bedroom townhouse for the same cost as a two bedroom apartment! Upstairs in the bedroom is enough room for a queen-size bed and two twin beds (for when the kids spend the weekend), with still plenty of room for a large walkway between the beds and the wall lined with bookcases and chests of drawers...there's a walk-in closet and a storage area about 3x4x3 big...I looked at other apartment models before I settled on a townhouse (oh, the two-bedroom townhouses are the BEST--one wasn't available when I moved in unfortunately...they're the same rent as I was paying for a two-bedroom apartment elsewhere!). All of the apartment models: studios, one and two-bedroom apartments are very roomy with more closets and built-in storage spaces than you'll find in apartments built anytime recently.
There's lots of parking, keyed-access security on all building entrances, good response from maintenance guys who live on site, and very pleasant, professional, responsive property management people in the office. Oh, it should be noted that there are such nicely planted grounds on the property with trees, shrubbery, and plantings that seem to be attractive a lot of song-birds. You can always hear birds chirping and singing out the window. Also, they are pretty careful about who they rent to here...they screen all renters with criminal background checks. This was the first time I'd ever run into that which is good; keeps the riff-raff out and makes this place a safer place for everybody...which is cool. Ridgeview really opens up to a surprising property after you drive off of W. Smith Street down Ridgeview Drive and around back to the office and pool in the back corner. I was amazed at the beautiful grounds and open spaces when I first drove back around the property...the view from W. Smith Street doesn't do this place justice. About five of my friends have moved in here after hearing about it (and Ridgeview's referral bonus was a great incentive too!)
