I have lived here for 9 months, and everyone has been wonderful, Leah especially! Now that the apartments just switched owners, and Leah is gone, I fear for the tenants.

No matter what, the new manager has some big shoes to fill.

Its been less than a week, and I already can't pay rent online, and I am not sure if the number to call for security is the same, because of course for the first time ever, the neighbors above me are being loud.

I have lived here for quite some time. I find the new owners and managers to be quite helpful and professional. As far as paying on-line, it usually takes some time to get these types of things set up when all the systems are being changed. Have a little patience. I'm sure they are doing everything they can to accomodate the residents. Since the new owners have taken over, they have already re-paved the entire parking lot and put new roofing on every building. I am looking forward to seeing in what other ways they will be improving The Village. It's obvious that they take more pride than the last owner did.

The new management is settling in still, but I do miss Leah. I had problems with the parking lot repaving. They did repave the entire parking lot, but they gave no warning at first, and when I went to my car, the driveway behind my small car had been ripped up. Then when they were sealing, they gave less than a 24 hour warning. Then, when they were sealing, they didn't plan ahead, because people were forced to park in fire lanes, while others blocked cars in, and it was a nightmare due to bad planning. I had to park down the street at the P and R because there was absolutely no where to go. I personally did not appreciate the way the repaving was handled.

Well, I know things were hectic but.... I'm sure you MUST have something nice to say???? Make it a new years resolution that when you feel like your going to complain... find something good and give a compliment instead. You will be amazed at how others will treat you differently than they do now.
