The obnoxious construction noise is ridiculous. A few months ago they repaired the roofing on our buildings and it took forever and was so annoying. Now they are currently repairing the siding and it is the loudest noise I have ever had to deal with. It is currently saturday morning at 9:15am and they are right outside my door hammering nails. I understand they are making improvements, but they offer NO COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER (and we have asked for it twice!) Also, the high rent increases occur at every rent renewal ($45 for us last time, $30 the time before.) The grounds around our complex is nasty, there is dog waste everywhere. No one picks up after their dogs. We accidentaly stepped in it once when it was dark, and tracked it all inside our apartment, requiring a carpet cleaning. We have not been happy, this latest construction with no compensation is our last draw, we will NOT be renewing.

I have lived at Wandering Creek for 4 years now and am happy to see they are finally updating the complex. Yes, the noise is a little annoying, but it only lasts a few days (they just finished with my building). The rent increases are not that huge, you can't expect to live at a place that does not increase your rent. COMPENSATION?...do you expect that they compensate all of us for the IMPROVEMENTS they are making to the complex??? The grounds are not that bad, yes there are pet owners that do not clean up after their pets, but it's not that bad...have you looked at other complexes in the area? I've lived in Kent for 20 years and this is the only place I would live in an apartment in the area...Wandering Creek is not that bad.
