What can I say this place was a NIGHTMARE!
I did not feel safe at all there. Gangs of kids roam around without supervision, causing trouble, fighting. The hot tub was always foaming which means it needed serious cleaning. The management did nothing even when we complained. The apartment above us had about 10 guys living in that were up all night and day, drinking and partying and every morning when their ride for work came they honked for 10-15 minutes. We complained to the management multiple times but they did nothing. They said they couldn't do anything because the tenants had no phone and when they knock on the door no one answers. Before them some woman lived up there for about a month she had people in and out all hours and the noises coming from the bedroom were unreal.
Some boyfriend kicked in her door one night.
The police questioned us about her and warned us not to have contact her and to call them if we heard anything suspicious. Again management did nothing. They never policed the pool so any kids in the vicinity could swim unsupervised residents or not. They allowed junky cars with flat tires to sit in the lot. But when my out of state tabs expired on my car they put a notice to tow on it! They didn't enforce picking up after your dog and there was continually dog poop in the grass. The greenspace between the apartments is a swamp 9 months of the year, unfit for the kids to play out there. They don't enforce the deck policy and tenants use them for storing junk and even as a dog kennel. Two big dogs were left on the deck behind us and barked at the kids when they were outside. My neighbor complained, I didn't bother I knew by now that management wouldn't do anything, I was right, nothing was done, those dogs are probably still barking. The garbage cans were always overflowing and the smell! No lids so we attracted all the crows and gulls in the area, who drug the garbage all over and left droppings on the cars. We left the apartment,the way we found it and they kept our deposit and then sent us a bill for almost $300 for additional cleaning. We tried to fight it but they buried us in paper work. We finally paid because we were afraid we would get sued for even more.
RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
I live at Hampton Bay now and am very happy there. There is a HUGE difference, do yourself a favor and walk down the street to Hampton Bay and rent there.
