When I first moved into Waterford At the Lakes it was the place that everyone wanted to live. I even got some of my freinds to live there also. In the 3 years that I have lived here I have seen it go WAY down hill. As in other reviews about the conditions, I agree with all of them. The maintaince staff is the worst that I've ever had to deal with, kids roam the apartment complex all hours and never have supervision, garbage is always all over the grounds, apartments and cars get broken into all the time, I have also never seen the sercuity patrol that they SAY they have, multiple families live in a one bedroom apartment, the walls are so thin that you can hear the music from 2 apartments over. My rent goes up every year but the amenities stay the same and still never get fixed. When I go to talk to the staff to renew my lease I bring all of these issues up and they act as is they are doing me a favor with letting me stay in the apartment complex. I have asked for a recycling bin for the last 2 years and it's still not there. I have had a lot of leaks from the apartment above me and my water heat broke and they took forever to fix anything and I always have to call and remind them of the work that I requested. When I first moved in I had a huge leak in my bathroom and they came and cut a huge hole in the bathroom and it took them a WEEK to fix it. Only after I went over to the office 3 times to talk to them about it. I also have a huge mold problem in my apartment. I ask them to kill it everytime and they say that the stuff that they use does but the mold always comes back!!! I can't wait until my lease is up so I can move out of this place! Anyone that knows anyway to help me out...let me know!
