I feel as if the management staff for Waterford at the Lakes was campaigning for elected office when my wife and I first moved in. Those in the office seemed friendly enough, telling us interesting stories of more eccentric tenants. We were made aware of all the amenities, rules and procedures. We were excited!

The trouble began as soon as we walked into the apartment. Our carpets, which we were told had been replaced, were stained all over. One complaint and we had people come do a cleaning. It didn't help. We had someone from the office come over to look and they remarked, "This is really bad. We'll have to have these removed." That was about 6 months ago and our carpets are still stained. Best part is, management changes so often no one remembers anything. Our rent has been lost. Maintenance takes weeks to show up (2 weeks to replace a kitchen bulb!!). My car was painted on by the gangs of neighborhood kids that run free all hours of the night. My wife has been hollared out constantly coming home from work by the ghetto gangsters throwing parties all the time on their balconies. I love having trash sitting outside everyone's doors! It's great when company comes over to see piles of trash everywhere! What a great idea!!

I can not warn anyone enough to not move here. Come the end of this lease we are gone. We've made that very clear to the management. Your safety, sanity and piece of mind isn't worth it. There are better places to go where you won't fear for your, or your wives', safety.
