It's very quiet and generally well managed but you will NOT get any of your deposit back.
I did a thorough job of cleaning and was charged 20 dollars for dust in the window tracks, 40 dollars for the tub and shower(it was clean), 35 dollars for the dust inside the cabinets(the very old cabinets were all wiped out).
After I cleaned I went to the office to arrange a walk-thru and was told that that they don't do them with the tenants but that as long as I had removed all of my garbage that the 150 refundable deposit would be refunded.
This sounded reasonable since I knew it was clean.
Two weeks later, I get the results in the mail.
They managed to find 150 dollars worth of cleaning charges...just enough to zero out my refundable deposit.

I just moved out the end of August, and have to agree with you. I spent the last two days (28th-29th) cleaning everything in the apartment. Went down to speak with Crystal (Assistant Manager) and arranged a walk-through of the apartment on the 30th. That way, itÂ?d give me another day to Â?re-cleanÂ? whatever I had missed.
Arrived on the 30th to speak with Crystal and have her do the walk-through with me, walked into the office to find Barbara (Manager) sitting there. Spoke to her about the situation and asked if she wanted to do the walkthrough instead of Crystal.
Barbara looked at me and said Â?We donÂ?t do them, but as long as itÂ?s clean youÂ?re goodÂ?. I then went on to tell her about the tiles in my bathtub, the windows in my bedroom, and some other miscellaneous stuff. Barbara said Â?not to worry about it, we understand the apartments are oldÂ? I agreed and left.
I returned on the 31st, to help another friend of mine who was also moving out, went back to my apartment to do one last Â?look aroundÂ?, and went down to the office to turn in my keys. Barbara was there in the office and I asked her again if she wanted to re-check my apartment. Again, she politely turned me down.
To make a long story short, about two weeks after moving out, I got my Â?refundÂ? check in the mail. They were able to list fifty-five dollars worth of Â?cleaning costsÂ? that were absolute bullsh*t, something about the vent fan in the bathroom being dusty (How in the heck do you clean a vent fan). On top of that, both windows in the bedroom and living room were dirty. I know I clean both sides of the window in my living room, and the in-ward facing side of my bedroom window, but how in godÂ?s name are you supposed to clean the outside of a window thatÂ?s two floors up?
I still really liked where I lived for three years, and would recommend this apartment to others. ItÂ?s just I wish they would have been more honest and open about the Â?cleaning costsÂ? and would have gone ahead and done the walk-through with me as I requested. I feel like it was a kick in the face after being there so long and being both such a good resident and tenant.
